Cross and way

The place where roads cross.

Ordinary people The Risttee hall full of people in the evening, string lights overhead on an extraordinary journey The band under the white cross with Jesus.

We are a family that believes in God, follows Jesus and loves people. We want to share love, help people find meaning and purpose in life, and support one another.

Three things we are

Worshippers

For us, worship is not only an activity or a thank-you. It is a way of life that shows our wonder and joy in God. Ps 100:4

Family

We notice each other's needs, celebrate together and share our worries. We want to be a welcoming family that receives new people with joy. Acts 2:42–47

Ambassadors

We have felt the life-changing power of Jesus, and we want to share it with the people around us: in conversations, in chance meetings and by helping others. Acts 1:8

1%

What if the Risttee family were 1% of the people of Tartu? A big, bold dream. Yet it all starts with one: you, your friend and one hour a week.

How we got here

“At first I only wanted to see how other churches worship, and then I just kept coming to Risttee.”

Aleksander, 31, artist

“Anyone who has met God in their life may wander anywhere for a while, but in the end they come back to God.”

Mirjam, 46

“I am hugely grateful to God for leading me to Risttee and for shaping my life through the life of the church.”

Risttee turned 20

Those years hold many real people and real stories, and they let us say: God has been faithful. On 25 October we celebrated with an anniversary service at Lodjakoda.
